Add a plus to your vacation in Lancaster County...visit one of the few actual size models of the Hebrew Tabernacle, with its furnishings carefully designed from biblical descriptions, as given to Moses and the Israelites.

Tabernacle InteriorThe lecture-tour, given by a trained guide, explains the history, construction, and spiritual significance of the tabernacle. A wax figure represents the High Priest, and helps to recreate the ritual at the altar of incense. The Ark of the Covenant rested in the Most Holy Place of the Tabernacle. It was extremely precious, for it represented God's presence, forgiveness, and awesome power. No one could go into this Most Holy Place except for the High Priest, and then only once a year.

The Tabernacle Reproduction, with its wealth of symbols, is a visual aid illustrating the Scriptures. It is a reminder of Christianity's rootage in Judaism, and may help the observer gain a better understanding of God and of God's ways.Ark Of The Covenant
